The area surrounding Kilmartin is the most important prehistoric site on the Scottish mainland, dotted with stone circles, cairns and chambered tombs dating back some 5000 years.
Located right in the heart of the village, the Kilmartin Hotel is uniquely situated for those wishing to visit and explore the numerous sights of interest in the local and surrounding area.
The hotel provides a comfortable standard of accommodation in 6 guests rooms, 4 of which are en suite and all of which are equipped with TV and tea/coffee-making facilities.
Peter, Liz, Jonathan and Laura, the owners, also offer an extensive choice of wholesome fayre from their bar meal and restaurant menus, with traditional Scottish and seafood dishes taking pride of place.
There is a superb wine list to choose from or you might prefer one of the real ales on tap. The traditional Scottish bar offers a range of over 40 Malt whiskies.
